EMC has initiated and managed major projects in Japan in the areas of flexible delivery of overseas courses and distance education.

Major projects include:

NCN Japan
NCN are one of the leading recruiters for Japanese students going to universities in the USA. EMC is contracted to NCN to assist in the development of an Australian operation.
Australian University Scholarships 2003 - 2004, 2004-2005
Development and marketing of a project to promote over 30 scholarships from nine Australian universities to Japanese students. The scholarships are promoted widely throughout Japan, with features in ALC Press study abroad magazines and the SPACE ALC website, as well as via the AEI.
ELTEA (English Language Teacher Education Australia)
Marketing and recruitment services for ELTEA's masters courses by distance in TESOL and Applied Linguistics offered by the University of Technology Sydney & Curtin University of Technology, with the cooperation of the Australia Japan Foundation.
La Trobe University
Development of a joint venture with the Nissoken Group to offer the Bachelor of Aged Care and Master of Nursing Studies by distance education in Japanese from October 2000.
Griffith University
Development of a joint venture with the Nissoken Group to offer the Bachelor of Nursing (Post Registration) by distance education in Japanese from October 1997.
University of Wollongong
Coordination of an agreement with The Japan Times newspaper to promote postgraduate education courses (TESOL) in Japan.
University of Wollongong
Feasibility study for the Australia Japan Foundation to develop a consortium of Australian universities providing a TESOL Teachers Kit for distribution in Japan.
RMIT University
Feasibility Report on the RMIT University Chiropractic Unit established in Japan.
Publication in English of a series of directories of Japanese educational institutions.
